JOB Description
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Prepare necessary documents needed for the release of shipments
- File and coordinate the applications with National Telecommunication Commission and
- Bureau of Product Standard need for importations per shipment
In-charge of renewing yearly registration with the Bureau of Customs - Coordinate with shipping lines, agents for booking purposes
- Obtain quotes for transportation and also making cost comparison
- Send Proforma Invoice/Purchase Order for lodgment of IED for all LC Transactions
- Send Draft Letter of Credit to supplier for final checking and confirmation. Once
confirmed, finalize LC and submit to bank together with the necessary documents - Prepare request for payment for Telegraphic Transfer transactions Send Telegraphic cable to supplier and gets confirmation receipt of payment Monitor the arrival and delivery of shipment Prepare and process request for payment thru ARIBA system per shipment
- Create Purchase Requisitions
- Accredit/Re-accredit Suppliers
- Actively participate in activities for improvement of department KPI through tracking of
progress and individual accomplishments - Adhere to all purchasing standard procedures, policies and controls
Qualifications:
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY :
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Customs
- Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management- related courses, etc.
- At least 1 year relevant work experience
- Open to Fresh Graduates
- Must be customer-focused and have excellent English Communication Skills
(both oral and written) Must have a strong sense of urgency - Experience with requirement analysis, development, testing, training and support
- Proficient in using collaboration tools to work with virtual teams
- Active in new learning and problem solving
- Willing to travel and be trained at local subsidiary terminal sites (specially Manila Port Area)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must be open to being assigned other tasks
