Duties & Responsibilities:
- Team Management
a. Software Development Team performance management
b. Provide leadership in identifying opportunities to further increase the capabilities of the
support teams through trainings and other mechanisms - Project Management for development and/or testing of multiple concurrent projects; ensure
scope and timeline are properly managed - Solution or Technical Architecture design authoring and review
- Ensure project compliance to Release Management policies
- Ensure Code Management processes are properly executed
- Ensure that development controls are properly executed, e.g. code review, demos, others
- Create and/or maintain code as maybe necessary
- Work directly with client support staff, quality assurance, the IT development team, the IT
operations team, business analysts, business users, and management to resolve issues - Provide leadership in proposing effective solutions to clients for support requirements in the
client organization; incorporate latest developments of new technologies into solutions - Provide leadership to various teams of support analysts in terms of managing escalations, client
engagement, defining processes and managing prioritizations - May assume functional responsibility for specific tasks or projects and instruct, direct and/or
check the work of others - Performs tasks assigned from time to time
Minimum Education Required:
- Graduate of a 4-year IT or computer-related college course
Minimum Relevant Experience Required:
- Over 15 years software development experience using C#, .NET and
JAVA, and MS SQL/SyBase - Over 10 years experience in performance tuning/optimizing existing
applications - Strong foundation on Object Oriented Development
- Multi-site Development experience
- Hands on experience in developing solutions for Windows, Linux
and related technologies - Experience in a cross-cultural, fast paced work environment
- Experience in end to end Systems Development, i.e. requirements
to implementation and support
Technical Skills Required:
- Experience in developing n-tier systems/solutions
- Solid understanding of the current IT systems environment and
development paths - PMP and/or SCM Certification is a plus
